Traveler Tip: Climb the central prang for a panoramic view of the Chao Phraya River and surrounding areas. Wear comfortable shoes as the steps can be steep.

2. Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen (Big Buddha)

Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen is known for its impressive giant Buddha statue and the magnificent glass pagoda inside the temple. The pagoda is adorned with intricate carvings and houses many Buddha relics.

Traveler Tip: Visit the glass pagoda in the late afternoon when the light illuminates the carvings beautifully. Photography is allowed, so bring your camera.

3. Wat Pho (Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimon Mangkhalaram Rajwaramahawihan)

Wat Pho is home to the famous reclining Buddha, which measures 46 meters long and is covered in gold leaf. The temple is also known as the birthplace of traditional Thai massage.
